Rahkshi Gui [Initial Design]

So I know it has been a long time since anyone's posted here, but the other day I was suddenly urged to open up some of my LEGO boxes and just make something. I went in not knowing what I wanted to design, but I think I made something cool consequently. Turning to the Zoids franchise for inspiration, I designed the Rahkshi Gui (its name is a tip of the hat to its exact inspiration, the BioRaptor Gui); it is a powerful, well-rounded aerial drone that was designed in a world that I conceive to be very different then the traditional Bionicle universe. Years after the fall of the Makuta many Toa have simply died of old age. In their replacement, the Matoran/Agori employ drones to settle the occasional conflict. One tribe however has turned to the ways of the arcane, mixing modern and ancient technologies to create one of the most powerful armies [of all time]. Its spread from the North has left a trail of devastation in its wake with virtually nobody stopping it. Until ... something, I haven't worked it out that far yet. Nevertheless, I thought I should share it with you guys (it really has been a long time)...

Yours Truly,
0M3G4 (aka Biomaniac)

Man, do I hope that Hero Factory will have a decent storyline. I hope it won't be as bad as Slizer's (Bionicles Primal Ancestor) was... This was Slizer's complete (emphasis on COMPLETE) storyline:

The planet that the Slizers/Throwbots lived on was called Planet Slizer/the Throwbot Planet. The planet was divided into 8 continents, seven of them dividing the planet into seven sectors. The eighth and smallest continent, on one of the hemispheres where the seven other continents converged, was the Judge/Jet Continent. It was the stadium for Slizer/Throwbot competitions. The Slizers/Throwbots trained for the competitions by fighting the natural adversaries that existed on their continents, but perhaps Judge/Jet did not because he seemed to have no natural enemies in his continent. Also, when not competing, the Slizers/Throwbots were divided into two factions of “good” and “evil”. The “good” side was made up of Fire/Torch, Ice/Ski, City/Turbo, and Sub/Scuba, while the “evil” side was made up of Judge/Jet, Jungle/Amazon, Rock/Granite, and Energy/Electro. These two factions fought each other constantly when not competing in the stadium, and it is unknown whether belonging to either of these two factions interfered with their stadium competitions.

Another Side... Some people hope that HF will have a terrible storyline, that way it'll die quicker, and get replaced with something else, better...

For those who are looking for more info on the Slizers, look 'ere!!!

Tuma is not Dead

Once again, the movies are not entirely accurate to the story

"...Mata Nui starts attacking the overconfident Skrall. Enraged, Tuma becomes careless, and Mata Nui is able to shatter Tuma’s weapon, ending the fight. He claims Tuma’s shield in victory...."

This is the official story that is on Bionicle.com

Bioncle Web Game

Here's a picture of a level in the new Bionicle Web game. It seems like one of those defence Games. Anyway there will be more levels, not just this one If you were wondering!
Also for short news, the Glatorian Arena 3 Game will not be going on the Lego Site, but on another Site!

Bionicle Stars Pics

I haven't seen these on any of the other blogs, but they're good anyways if you have seen them

Map of the Matoran Universe and Bara Magna

These I find very helpful and they are a good reference. The Matoran Universe Map was released in the book Bionicle: Makuta's Guide to the Universe and the Map of Bara Magna was released in Lego Magazine.

Remember to click on the image for full size. The map of Bara Magna is signifigantly bigger than the map of the matoran universe. this may suggest that it is 'to scale'
Also, it is very difficult to read the captions when the images are not viewed at their full size
